About Me
Hello, my name is Olivia. I am a senior pursuing a BA in English with a double concentration in Creative Writing and Literature and minors in Professional Sales and Professional Writing Studies at Elon University. My goal is to use my writing, editing, and marketing skills to promote new classics and collaborate with others who share my passion for literature. I also want to uplift underrepresented voices and ensure everyone has a chance to tell their story.
When I don't have a book in my hand, I love to travel, update my Bookstagram, drink iced caramel lattes, walk my dog, and sing in the shower.
Why writing and editing?
I've always been a bibliophile, but writing and editing became my passion when I discovered I could positively influence the emotions of my audience and create a space to channel my perfectionism. While this portfolio showcases many different areas of my work, my favorite pieces to write are fiction. The best part about writing is seeing the reactions from my readers and discussing my work's impact. I hope I leave a lasting impression on at least one reader with each piece I write.
